Sepsis Canada Summit Series - Team 3 National Preclinical Sepsis Platform (NPSP)

Join Drs. Manoj Lalu, Asher Mendelson & Braedon McDonald where they will discuss their project the National Preclinical Sepsis Platform (NPSP) which is designed to improve clinical translation of basic science research in sepsis requires innovative methodology combined with “team science” collaborative models. This study establishes a national network of Canadian laboratories to conduct an innovative preclinical multicenter trial of sepsis.

Sepsis Canada / Mitacs: Trainee Awards Competition Webinar

Sepsis Canada and Mitacs partnered together to fund a Trainee Awards Competition. During the online seminar, representatives from Sepsis Canada and MITACS reviewed the Trainee Awards Competition program guidelines, described the requirements for applying to MITACS Accelerate and provided tips on finding partner organizations.

Sepsis Canada Webinar, hosted by the BC Sepsis Network

Sepsis Canada is a multidisciplinary research network working towards reducing the burden of sepsis for all Canadians, as well as supporting training programs and seed grants to fill gaps in the research landscape. The BC Patient Safety & Quality Council and the BC Sepsis Network hosted Sepsis Canada to present its work, partnerships, and engagement opportunities. We heard from Dr. Alison Fox-Robichaud, Sepsis Canada’s Scientific Director, as well as Nubia Zepeda, the organization’s Managing Director, including a discussion with Dr. David Sweet.
