Sepsis Canada Announces Final Trainee Grant Recipients
Sepsis Canada is proud to announce the recipients of our final Trainee Grant competition. These awards recognize and support promising researchers dedicated to advancing sepsis knowledge and improving patient outcomes.
Congratulations to Amanda Doherty-Kirby and Rheya Hanning with co-applicant Nayomi Camilus, on being selected as this year’s awardees. Each recipient will receive a $25,000 grant to support their research project, beginning October 1, 2025, for a duration of 12 months.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our reviewers for their insightful evaluations and constructive feedback. In particular, we thank Dr. Lauralyn McIntyre and Dr. Edmund Tan for their unwavering support and dedication throughout the year.
